PiG Berlin 2010 announces a change of venue for this year’s party and moves to
Münze Berlin. This fantastic new location
isn’t only BIGGER – IT’S BETTER!!!
Antoin, PiG Berlin Coordinator says “Ticket sales for this year’s party have
been going very well. We had a few growing concerns about capacity at this
year’s previous venue – StaTT Bad Wedding - and thought it would be better to
move to a bigger location.
PiG Berlin is definitely one of the world’s top Fetish parties. Health and
safety concerns have become a top priority for us and we want to make sure
that we not only get the atmosphere of the party right, but it’s important
that everyone who comes out feels safe while having the piggy fun they enjoy.
Other fantastic parties have been held here but everyone knows too that with
PiG, it’s going to be unique!”
The Alte Münze (The Old Mint) is a historic building and the former German
Mint where they produced coins of GDR Marks, and Deutsche Marks. With well
over 2,000 sq m of basement space, including its original bank vaults and
labyrinth of storage rooms, it gives a very unique layout for those dark
dungeon spaces for the ideal PiG Playroom.
The
venue is conveniently located around the corner from Alexanderplatz with the
closest U-bahn being Klosterstrasse. Take the U2 direct from Nollendorf Platz
or Wittenberg Platz and it’s only 12 minutes on the U-bahn from Schöneberg (Berlin’s
gay centre, and home to the Folsom Europe Street Fair) and a 2 minute walk
from Klosterstrasse station.
This year PiG continues its trend with their popular VIP room with personal
escorted entry, free welcome champagne drink, free separate coat check,
separate bar, private dance floor with 6 HOT DJs to keep you entertained, a
private show by hot stars, snacks and refreshments, lounge area, separate
toilets and free giveaways.
PiG presents a list of top DJs from across Europe, the UK and the US,
including, Paul Heron (London), Per QX (London/Sweden), Manuel Carranco
(Spain), Frank Wild (San Francisco), Connie Casserole (NY) and other
favourites including Eduardo de la Torre, Mikael Costa, Johann de Beers,
Scorpio and RedTom Cat.
